From the 12th-24th February Jin will be away on holidays. So that current patients and new patients have continuity of care Leyla Okyay an experienced Osteopath will be visiting Wanaka and treating at MetaMed. Leyla has recently moved back to Tauranga where she now practices Osteopathy and clinical pilates.

Leyla is a New Zealand trained Osteopath having worked in busy clinics in Whangarei and Tasmania where she worked with Jin. Leyla has taken over many of Jin's patient's in the past during her time in Tasmania. During her time as an Osteopath Leyla has been president of the Osteopaths New Zealand an association involved in educating the public about Osteopathy and supporting the needs of New Zealand Osteopaths

Leyla loves to solve complex musculoskeletal complaints ranging from:

• neck pain
• headaches
• disc issues
• rotator cuff injuries
• hip osteoarthritis
• knee injuries
• recurrent ankle sprains

Leyla has been involved in competitive sports her self and has represented NZ in brazilian jujitsu, so she's familiar with the demands we put on our body and the need for it to be performing at its best. Her clinical pilates training (Polestar) gives her the ability to help restore your body for lasting results with specific prescriptive exercises and movement patterns.
